The Team will be leaving Australia
towards the end of September and early October to arrive
in Tigray mid October when the main work will be done.
It is hoped that during these three weeks there will
be an opportunity to get out of Mekele into some of the
more remote areas to get a better sense of the issues
facing the people further away from the main towns. The
Team expects to be back in Australia by the end of November
2005.
While the Team is away Tania Radis, based in Adelaide,
will be the key contact person. Any enquiries can be
forwarded to her. Regular update will continue to be
sent during this period
Current access to the internet
in Tigray is limited and unreliable so direct communication
with Team members may be slow.
